Work is well underway at Great Martin’s Farm previously called Zacara Polo Club in Berkshire. This exciting project promises to bring a slightly different horsepower to the polo grounds, with the new addition of a state of the art dressage facility.
The build has been underway since January this year, with plans and designs being completed by the Equus in house team. The new equestrian facilities include a 60m x 20m indoor dressage arena, along with indoor stabling, tack room and feed rooms. The Equus team have worked closely with the client to select the finest finishes and the most durable materials, offering an outstanding and luxurious dressage facility. Aside from the equestrian construction, the Equus team have also planned and designed a machinery store, extensive car parking and drainage.
With over 20 years’ experience in equestrian projects, the Equus team can advise, and source materials tailored to the client’s needs. For this project, Glulam timber beams have been chosen for the indoor arena along with full glazing to allow natural light. Equus offer a full-service equestrian construction service, including planning and design, project management and the final build, or can also work in collaboration with other construction companies on projects. Equus are pleased to be working alongside Röwer & Rüb, who will be supplying the stables for this project and Martin Collins surfaces who will supply the surface for the indoor arena.
